Demonstrated Leadership in Times of Adversity
A committed advocate for the entire community, including students, parents, and teachers.
Standing for New Schools
In addition to helping deliver a new joint-use Elementary School, Ted continues to advocate for an additional High School in East Regina to service the needs of our students.
Adequate School Funding
Ted is putting his public profile at the service of our kids – by calling for recruiting more specialists, teacher librarians, and fixed contract educators. Preparing our kids for today’s world.
Advocating for our Kids
Ted is calling for supporting kids with special needs, managing the growing complexity of our classrooms, and ensuring our schools have everything they need to help our children learn.
A Community Champion
In collaboration with the RCMP and the Jaleta Pacers Running Club, the annual Royal Road Race raised over $40,000 this year to combat food insecurity in local school children and to support mental health.
An Engaged Trustee
Ted is active on the School Board as a member of Organizational Culture and Diversity Committee, the Indigenous Education Advisory Council, the Strategic Engagement and Advisory Committee, and the Public Section Executive of the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA).
Committed to Diversity
Every day, Ted is working to improve awareness of diverse needs and the inclusion of all.
“Ted is a strong and courageous advocate for public education, teachers, and students alike, and I’m especially grateful for his passion for supporting newcomer students. This fall, vote Ted Jaleta!”
